FULL of FAITH

Do you realize that we put our FULL faith in so many things?

We are FULL of FAITH to know that if I fill up my gas tank for my automobile (SUV, car, truck) that this vehicle is going to get me from point A to point B to point C and back to point A. We are FULL of FAITH to know that if I work these 40 hours in a week, I am going to get a paycheck on Friday.

But are we that FULL of FAITH when it comes to the blessings that God wants to bestow upon us?

Sometimes we put more faith into the things of this world than into God. Or into God fulfilling a need that we placed before him in prayer. I will use myself as an example. I found myself second guessing whether or not God would come through when I asked him for something. I felt I deserved the blessings yet, I doubted it for myself. So I have a relationship with him, I pray all the time for myself and others, I work hard, I attend church, and I give back (time, coins, you name it). "Do I really deserve this blessing?" The answer is Yes. I am a child of God. I read his word several times throughout the day and I know he wants me to prosper and live an abundant life.

But THERE is MORE.....

I'm learning that being in a place that I am faithful equals I need to be FULL of FAITH. There comes a time and a place where it's more than being constant but consistent with your walk. Consistent with what you believe and carry in your heart. But that is how I felt for the moment. You may be curious as to why I would even think this way?? Why Shishandra?? Because I am a giver, I don't really ask for much, and there is this thing called Independence.

I'm Independent

God is working on me with my independent spirit. But it goes back to being FULL of FAITH. I should be in a place where I am so FULL of FAITH that I am willing and not second-guessing that if I ask God for something that I KNOW he wants to give it to me. "I should be SOOOOOO FULL of FAITH that I don't second guess whether or not I deserve to be blessed." Anytime we question God about what we deserve or if he will give us "A Blessing" that places doubt on the need we want him to fulfill. Robert Browning says it best "I show you doubt, to prove that faith exists." Doubt creates a GREAT opportunity for God to show you that if he said he will do it, he will. The more I walk and talk with him the more I am learning that if God wants to give me a blessing. I should not question him yet, trust that what he has for me is for me and he always follows through on his word. As some of my friends say,

"That there ain't none of my business."

Kermit the Frog None of My Business

Meaning that how God is going to do what he said he will do is not for me to worry about, investigate, or even try to help him.

Because he is in the business of blessing and fulfilling needs.

I know you may have heard that before, it's true. The one thing I am very SURE of without a shadow of a doubt is that God is not like men, he is a promise keeper, he is a way maker, and he is a need giver. "If you ask God for something in faith there shouldn't be any room for doubt."

So in the midst of me writing this as encouragement. The encourager has encouraged herself to know that GOD is able to exceed my expectations and needs.

If you are in a place where you have talked with God about a pressing matter be reminded and so FULL of FAITH to know that GOD's GOT YOU! I have a friend that says

"God ain't gone let me go down like that."

Leap of Faith

Sometimes he needs to remind us of who he is and how he wants to bless us beyond our wildest dreams but we have to be FAITHFULL.

What will you do today to ensure that you are FULL of FAITH?

"Embrace God, Love You, and be FULL of FAITH Y'all"
