Rainbow In The Clouds
It's Saturday and it has been such a great day!! It stormed but after the storm the sun appeared. There is so much beauty in the sun beaming through the clouds.
Mint was the color of the day for me! I loved the dress I thrifted and paired it with a floral necklace purchased at Wal-Mart for under $5.00. Yes, Wal-Mart has a really cute accessory line by Cosmopolitan and it is very inexpensive.
I am definitely a thrifter! I purchased this dress at a local thrift store for under $6.00. After washing the dress, I was admiring the print and said to myself "I wish this dress had pockets." Well, guess what?!? It did. While I was pressing the dress, I found this little opening on the side, poked my finger in it and it was a pocket.
The previous owner never open the pocket seams!! My wish came true (as corny as that may sound). I get excited about the little things in life. Here is a better look at my OOTD for Saturday:
Here is a little pocket action:
My pumps are white and I love them! This dress could always be paired with a colored pair of pumps to add that pop. When wearing prints don't be afraid to add color or even wear another print. I choose to keep the look simple as I was attending a bridal shower. To achieve this look:
A little encouragement from the late great Dr. Maya Angelou "Find your rainbow in the clouds." I had the honor of hearing Dr. Angelou, a world changer speak in florida several times and it was always encouraging, motivational, and very inspiring. I took that quote and several others away from those great moments. I interpret "Find your rainbow in the clouds," as regardless of what life may throw at you, the storms, the test, and the trials. After the storm when that sun beams through you may see your rainbow. That rainbow can represent so many things, yet, one thing I know for sure that is represent is a covenant that God made with the people. It can represent a new beginning or even that change is going to come.
I encourage you to "Find your rainbow in the clouds." Be bold, be beautiful, and be FASHIONED FOR HEM.
